Squeezytunes became two years old a couple of days ago. So, to celebrate here's a great cumbia mix done Dallas style.

i see why you're a fan...lots of accordions! i don't know nearly enough about cumbia...nominally i thought it was from columbia (or at least columbian-derived), but obviously this is a lot of crunk/reggaeton/hip-hop (the influence of which I was aware of), kind of combined with norteno music, which struck me as very interesting.
must, dig, deeper...

Yes, I think cumbia started in Columbia, although there's a strong Mexican style too.

the mexican style exemplified in many ways by the accordions you enjoy so much. that aspect of mexican music (norteno) always has been interesting to me.
