Chantays - Pipeline

Phew, I'm finally getting over the flu that I've had since just after Christmas. So, time for some party music !  This is a surf classic from the Chantays with their hit Pipeline. This tune was later covered by more or less everyone, but this is the original. Can anyone tell me what the keyboard is though ?

Thanks for posting this! Everytime my bandmate picks up his electric guitar he spontenously starts to play the characteristic bassline to this very song, and i always thought it sounded very surfisch but i had no idea it actually WAS a classical surf-standard, i just thought what he played sounded so surf becuase of the tremolo-technique and becuase he had it being processed by a old springreverb. So "Pipeline" it is then.

I think the song holds up, and the film is hilarious. To my ear, Pipeline was the basis of the Billy Idol tune, White Wedding, no?

I can't tell what the keyboard is....I don't know keyboards nearly as well as squeezeboxes.
