Best Personalised Internet Radio Show

Over the years I've tried a number of internet radio sites that allow you to create your own personalised radio stations that play only the music you like.

None of these however have come close to the quality and simplicity of Pandora.

This site is just so easy to use and the sound quality is so good that I use it all the time.
To create a radio station you just type the name of an artist or even a song and it goes away and finds similar stuff.
I'm now using this all the time to check out various acts without having to purchase anything or download anything.
I'm currently listening to my Frank Sinatra station, but earlier I was listening to my John Prine station and later I might try The Gotan Project or Shpongle.

Only on Ebay - Hohner Sax

Now this is a really exciting find !

It's a Hohner Sax from about 1925. But it's not a saxophone - it has the key layout of a melodeon.

This is very much a sister instrument to the Goofus that I've previously featured, and also the Harmonicar.

Before the Supremes were these three ladies.

But before them, there was these three ladies !

Harmonica Horn

Now this is obviously a toy, and hence it probably sounds terrible. However perhaps, just perhaps it doesn't...

Portable Harmonium

Most harmoniums are Victorian, but in fact they were made and used right up to the 1950s.

This model was used by the US Army in World War 2 for example.

It was made by the Estey Organ Company.
