This week on ebay there are loads and loads of interesting items. First though a look at last weeks haul.
The Univox J6 went for a massive £216.11 whereas the J7 went for only £31. However the J7 wasn’t in great condition. Condition is clearly important when it comes to these early keyboards.
The portative organ remained unsold again. This time is hasn’t been relisted.
First up this week is an Indian style Harmonium. These are the ones that you pump the bellows with one hand whilst playing with the other. They are fairly common on ebay as they’re still made in India where they used in a number of styles of music. This particular harmonium is of note however because of its price - a starting bid of £500 and a buy it now of £900 puts it in the premier league of harmoniums.
Update: unsold - no bids
Next up is a Roland RS09 Organ/String synth. These are acclaimed for their warm pad sounds, although I’ve never played with one myself. This one is built into a flight case which is handy.
Update: sold for £93
Look at this funny little toy accordion. It appears to be made of cardboard and has just 10 keys but with 4 ‘black’ keys painted on. It looks quite old so it will be interesting if any collectors getting into a bidding war for this. I suspect the sound will be pretty atrocious.
Update: sold for £4.99
Here's another Clavioline and this one looks to be in good condition, so it should do well.
Update: sold for £132
