Alec builds autoharps, and on this occasion he will be playing  his own instruments, two single key harps in D & F major plus an O/S chromatic harp. Don’t miss this rare performance.

Directions: From Ipswich leave as if for A12 North via A1214 Colchester Road, go straight at roundabout, shortly after fork left into Playford Road. Take 3rd left (Butts Road) at approx. 1.25miles, follow road into Playford. Village hall is at bottom of hill on RH side.  From A12 North, leave A12 at roundabout with A1214, turn right at approx 1.75 miles, after Kesgrave Bell PH on LHS. This minor road will bring you to a T junction, turn left  then right into Butts Road for Playford.

Yes it's true. We're putting on our show in Ipswich !

We've hired Gatsby's (the bar in the Corn Exchange) as a venue, and we've invited The Floozies to come down and play too.

I can't wait - we'll get to play for a full hour, and I'll get to play my new glockenspiel !

Forthcoming Mike Summers and the Doons Gigs

We're playing at the High Barn in Bardwell next Friday (28th October).
The High Barn is a very nice venue so we're looking forward to being up on the huge stage again. If I can just overcome my urge to play the grand piano then we should go down well.

Then on December 8th we're organising our own show in Ipswich. We're hoping to hire the Gatsby's venue which is part of the Corn Exchange. We'll be playing ourselves (obviously) and we've also invited a cool acoustic 'folk-jazz' trio from Bury St Edmunds called The Floozies. I should say that this isn't 100% sorted yet, so I hope I'm not tempting fate by announcing it here.
