Dave Dee RIP

Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich was the unlikely name of a band that according to Wikipedia spent more time on the UK charts between 1965 and 1969 than the Beatles!
Sadly Dave Dee passed away a few days ago.

I saw them (minus Dave Dee) perform back in the late 80s or early 90s, and was astounded at how good they were. The song 'Zabadak' particularly made a big impression on me. I thought I had posted this before, but not according to Google.

1968 was a year in which they were obviously on fire. As well as recording 'Zabadak' they also had hits with 'Bend It', and their biggest hit of all 'The Legend of Xanadu'.
