This may look like a melodica, and it all intents and purposes it is a melodica.
However, this is in fact a Clavietta made by M. Borel of Paris who also makes the Accordina.
It dates from the 1950s and I would expect that it sounds a lot better than the majority of melodicas.
It sold for 196 Euro (£134) on Ebay in France.

I am trying to find where I can get a Clavietta repaired. It is in good condition on the outside, however it does not play. I don't even know if it is worth fixing.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. The case is perfect also.

Hi Jason, I have a Clavietta and I am intersted in restoring it. Would it be posible to get in touch with one another?
I am the original owner for over 40 years and would be extremely excited to be able to play it again.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have a Clavietta that I believe is antique, and very nice condition in a red velvet lined hard black case. I'd be interested in selling it for a good price if interested.
